I am looking for a comprehensive authorized food list, or let me say it this

way, a MORE comprehensive authorized food list. If the book is it, then so

be it. I just hear so many people talk about different foods and recipes and

I just thought that maybe there was a MORE comprehensive authorized food

list.

With the world surrounding me

But now I AM FREE..... "

It really isn't that hard.

All vegatables are authorized.

All fruits are authorized as carbs.

All low fat meats are authorized.

How do you know if a meat is lowfat? Look at the label, if the fat grams are

less than 25% of the total protein grams, then go for it. You can already assume

that SPAM, bacon, most regular sausage, regular ground beef, most regular hot

dogs are a BIG NO-NO.

No bread is authorized, except ONE SLICE of whole wheat. That means no white,

rye, sourdough, english muffins, bagels, regular muffins, pastries, cake, etc.

Other grains? Only if it's whole wheat, whole grain, or bran or barley.

Keep it simple. Get used to the nature of food and stop being so worried about

eating specific foods off a list. Once you learn that then you can get more

knowledgable about things like glycemic index and what proteins are best to eat

at what time of day and before/after workouts.

I could swear that it says two slices in the book...I'll have to

look it up again.

Isn't that what I said....no more than 25% of the protein grams

For example:

4g fat and 10g of protein. Equals NO.

2g fat and 15g of protein. Equals Okay.

To find the authorized recipes on the Body for Life web site, scroll down

close to the bottom. On the right side in the first red box, is where you

will find them. Click on it and it will give you tons of great recipes to

try. Also, in every issue of Muscle Media Magazine, there are authorized

recipes sent in by Transformation Co-Champions. Hope this is helpful.
