Patty, I am so glad to hear you survived!! I know, when my son was cast I

was ready to let the tears roll. It really hit me when his head was all

covered. I haven't heard of anyone taking pictures during this tramatic time

for us, I did take a few. I actually would have liked to have taken more but

my husband thought I was being a bit much. Hay, it's a part of their history

what can I say??!!! It will only get better. We have to remember there is a

purpose to all of this. Belinda (Indiana)

We took pictures today during her final casting, they look so cute when it's

all done, little sad babies covered in plaster, your heart goes out to them!

Patty,

Just click on the "chat" link to the left. I've noticed that

there is hardly anyone ever there tho. Sometimes it's really slow

and I think this discourages people (although I think it has improved since

ONElist was updated a few weeks back). Also I think because no body

is there when we check, we just leave. If your browser allows it,

try opening a second window ( FILE, NEW, NAVIGATOR WINDOW (NETSCAPE) and

leave it on chat while you do your "interneting" in the other. Keep

checking back to your "chat window" and maybe some of us will find each

other!

and I was wondering if there is anyway to chat on the list?

We went to Cranial Tech around noon today and I was very aprehensive

about getting cast - well I must admit - It was way worse

on

us that it was on her - When did the front of her head

she

barely cried, but for some reason when she did the back she was

really crying hard. We are thinking she probably had enough by

that

time - I'm SO GLAD that part is over. gets her band on

4/7

and this saga will continue. I also mentioned to about

this

list and she is going to spread the word to other parents to join

us!

The more the merrier - on this strange journey!! Patty

Belinda:

The hold took place about 4 weeks ago on the helmet. The babies that are

already in treatment are able to continue but no babies can get a helmet at

this time that are not in treatment yet. That is a delima for all of our

babies that don't have a helmet yet. We are loosing precious time.

Hope this helps.

Kathy......Thanks for the reply. I guess we lucked out!!!! When I asked our

ortho about the hold, he had heard nothing of the sort. Hopefully you will

start treatment soon. I know what it's like to lose time. Belinda
