Dartmouth-Hitchcock joins Mayo Clinic Care Network

By Jeff HanselThe Post-Bulletin, Rochester MNDartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, of Lebanon, N.H., has joined the Mayo Clinic Care Network, a nationwide system of hospitals working to cut costs and improve care.Network members get access to Mayo medical protocols, eConsults and other services in exchange for undisclosed fees paid to the clinic. They also get to note the Mayo affiliation name in signs.

As I was publishing my rant about consultants this came across the the noontime news! Now there is a way to address "Brain Drain" (and they accomplished it w/o government involvement! ) Really exciting since Dartmouth is associated with our local VA! Maybe they can teach them about PA and then we can save REAL money!
