Is Cortisol Related to Depression?

In my travels to unravel the association between Cortisol and depression and dementia I came across this research article. If I understood more than a quarter of it I might be really excited! I think others might benefit from it and may want to discuss with the team treating them. (, it may support your theory to fix the problems instead of throwing more SSRI/SNRI's at them!)
