Guest guest
I use to run about 20-25 miles/week before my adrenal glands decided they were against me back in Nov. 2011! I am proud to say I have been on the Spiro and Dashing now for 3 weeks and I feel great! I can tell my potassium is going up and my pressure has been excellent! I have run 8 miles this week already! I have noticed that if I have too much salt one day the next couple of days my BP is elevated. I plan on talking to my Neph about this. I don't think increasing spiro25mg would be wise... my BP gets to 150/98 a few times a week, thats okay with me most of the time it is 114/79! wooo hooo! 38 yrs aldo 30 (?-28) renin .38 (.25-5.89) ratio 78.9 (.9-28.9) Spiro 25mg Lisinopril 10mg (kidney saving purposes?) CT scan normal Saline suppression 8am 9ng/l noon 4ng/l NOT diagnosed, but being actively treated for PA... Which is fine with me, i just wanted the Spiro to get my BP down! K- (3.2 thru 4.0) 3.2 was when i was training for half marathon.... 4.0 was with very little running for a few months... K-only low if I start to run or exercise vigorously. so i have shortened mileage and slowed pace a great deal to compensate. (a work in progress) BP avg 140-160's/80-100's on a good day
