Guest guest
I "fired" my crummy nephrologist, went to my regular PCP today to get my K levels checked, and he has put in a fast authorization for me to see a new nephrologist and endocrine surgeon. He knew my insurance wouldn't cover me to go to UCLA, but thought they would cover Cedars-Sinai or USC. I am working the UCLA track on my own. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and referrrals. BP was 118/86. I was bad and had french fries today! And coffee. Living very dangerously. Two rare things these days.Meanwhile, I had him check out the painful lymph node I've had in my armpit. He said it's a mass and I have to have an ultrasound and mammogram to have it checked out. Has anyone else had this happen while dealing with their adrenal issues, or is this an entirely new can of worms that is about to be opened? I have now officially hit my limit of overwhelm on the amount of "health stuff" I think I can handle. Mammogram and ultrasound tomorrow. When I went to ER for the weird symptoms I was having post AVS that I thought could have been a clot, they said the lump I was feeling was a swollen lymph node in my groin. Hmmm.....I'm just not liking the sound of this.Monika
