My DH Jake gets the shot because he has COPD BUT I won't take it and they tried to give it to J this year and I said JJ Doesan't get SHOTS with mercury in it! Lois

You know,That flu shot is for only one virus anyway.....Like you couldn't get one of the other millon flus that are out there. I had to sign a paper when JJ was in school saying that I would not allow him to have any of the shots. Lois

My husband nearly died last December after getting the flu shot with the H1N1 vaccine in it. It triggered an autoimmune response and his red blood cells were being destroyed faster than his body could make them.His physician was convinced it was the H1N1 and she told him he can not risk getting one again. He had to have his spleen removed, which was risky with such a low count.
