Occasionally, some ask others to pray for them. The Christian Aspie Forum has a place where people can post Christian prayer requests. Look in the Database section specifically to find the prayer database. TheChristianAspieForum/ I am Christian and pray regularly, lately mostly for others, or I offer thanks to God for things He has given me or lessons He has taught me. The baby that I requested prayers for yesterday, had bacterial meningitis and is recovering from that, but still facing SO many other issues.. Actually, I am Karac's grandmother, but I diagnosed him and have worked with him for 15 years. I know it breaks your heart when he asks to come home. Karac was hospitalized for several weeks when he became so aggressive on the Abilify that we couldn't control him and he would ask to come home and it was so hard. I'm sorry you have lost your home; this economy has been so hard on so many. Karac is only 18 and his mother is already looking for a place to put him; I had hoped that she would at least wait until he is 21, but sooner or later those who cannot live independently will have to be placed. I would be interested in how you found the group home and all about it. hugs, Pat K Re: Prayers Pat, Thank you for praying for and me. He is now 25 years old. I had to put him in a group home in April and my heart aches for him everyday. A lot has happened since I talked to you. I still read the emails on occassion, but they sometimes make me miss him terribly. His combativeness was totally out of control and he was knocking out our teeth and broke some of my husband's bones. He has finally found a group home in San , where he has seemed to settle down. I talk to him on the phone and he keeps asking to come home. We lost our home to foreclosure and are now living in Arkansas. My world has been turned upside down in 2010. Last year he started have self injurious and aggressive behaviors; he had to have 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed, and he has low functioning severe autism. The doctors put him on drugs. The schools are horrible here and he wasn't able to tolerate the only classroom available to him. I removed him from school when he was 8 and have been trying to homeschool him myself. I knowthat God is already aware of these families, but I feel like he ispleased when I remember them too.
