I mean, you have to put a little effort into what you're doing, right? Anyway, so they give her the liposuction and all of a sudden she has all this confidence and now all her problems are solved. Oh, it just made me so sad. I mean, what kind of message is that sending her? The same thing with the girl who had the breast enlargement. I just think it's a shame for a young girl to place so much emphasis on the way she looks and then suddenly when she has larger breasts....she is suddenly so much happier. I just stood there watching the show and I kept shaking my head....I guess because I was watching it as a mother and it saddened me to think that there are so many young people out there who think like this and mother's who let their kids do this kind of stuff at such a young age! >> I AGREE WITH YOU I CAN UNDERSTAND GETTING A REDUCTION BUT ENLARGEMENT ??? AND WHAT WILL SHE DO WHEN HER BREAST GET BIGGER SHE IS STILL YOUNG AND HER BREAST WILL GROW MORE AND THE LIPO ONE OK IT WILL ONLY WORK IF YOU KEEP IT UP WHAT WILL SHE DO WHEN SHE GETS PREGNANT ??? I HAVE ONE WORD FOR A PARENT WHO LETS THIER KID(S) DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT STUPID NEED HELP WITH THIER THINKING IS THIS WHAT THE WORLD IS COMING TO ?? UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHH JUST WAIT TILL THE BACK PROBLEMS START AND THE BAGS BREAK OR LEAK...................... ROMIE
Guest guest
Did anyone see Dateline tonight? I was so appalled at the first story. I missed the very beginning, but what caught my eye was a young girl doing tae-bo. As soon as I saw tae-bo, I sat down and listened to what they were talking about. It was about two young girls (17 I think). The girl who they showed doing tae-bo was having liposuction and the other girl was having her breasts enlarged. I couldn't believe that their parents allowed them to go through with these procedures. What totally got me was the girl who had the liposuction was talking about how she tried working out and that she just couldn't seem to do anything to lose weight in her stomach. She said it wasn't so much about her weight, just that she carried it all in her stomach and it made her self conscious. I don't mean to be overly critical here, but when they showed her doing tae-bo....she had no motivation. She didn't put anything into the moves....she was just walking through the moves and kind of just throwing her arms out there. She had no intensity and it was like she wasn't even trying. Hello? Sorry, to go on about this but it really hit me and I just wanted to see if anyone else had seen it and what you all thought!
