Guest guest
Hi, I haven't posted on here for probably about a year. I have a question to ask. Does anyone here have a son that would rather be alone in his bedroom rather than be socializing with family? My son is 13 and he would rather be in his room listening to music and making up his news reports (he thinks he is a real news reporter). He isn't doing anything that would be causing trouble or anything innappropriate. His bio-dad doesn't think this is normal. All of a sudden, my son's father (who sees his son 2 times a year is trying to butt in) thinks this isn't normal. I am just curious what you all think of this. I think it is normal, as a teenager and for Autism in general. My son is just starting to like to socialize with other kids. Any thoughts? mother to Ricky, 13 NW Ohio
