Guest guest
Hi All. I'm a new member with a 4 1/2 year old son Will who was diagnosed with PDD-NOS coming up on 2 years ago. We've been doing speech, OT, ABA, and he goes to a preschool for kids with ASDs, We've been treating his anxiety, rigidity, obsessive compulsive issues with Zoloft (much improvement). We started GFCF 3 weeks ago. We seeing some improvements with interactivity, eye contact, and communication. But with that has come some regression in some areas: compulsive behaviors, obsessiveness. However, the new thing that started are episodes of outright disobedience, testing, etc. When he's misbehaving he knows he's being bad and but thinks of if it as a game - something new. Could this be " withdrawal " from gluten/casein?? A reaction to glutathione lotion that we started at the same time? It's just started this week. I.e., first time out at his preschool. Anyone in this group have any thoughts? Thanks so much, Tae
