When/How to tell your child they have Autism

Hi, thanks for your latest advice on Transitional Aggresssion...I have another question:When/How do you tell your child they have Autism? My son has started saying that he has "crazy thoughts" and I'm assuming he's referring to his overstimulated mind at times and his recent emotional/behavioral issues are causing him to think he's being a bad boy. I certainly don't want him feeling this way and wanted to know how to best approach (if at all now) explaining to him about his Autism.Any experiences or recommendations to share?Thanks,
