Guest guest
I was on raltaglavir, prezista, truvada, norvir...I started getting bad neuropathy like i did a few years ago on the "d" drugs...so they put me on a med break for like ten weeks. I go on a new regimen next week, not sure what, but I was told that I wouldn't be on the Prezista again because I had to take TWO Norvir with it, instead of the one I had been taking with other meds..and they think that the norvir gave me the neuropathy. I was told that they wouldn't have me on prezista without norvir boosting it. I think I may go back on raltaglavir (sp?), truvada, maraviroc and maybe fuzeon. They had to wait for me to get viral load back to do further testing. I don't think they're sure which meds give us the lipo. I have some areas of fat deposits, plus facial wasting which looks much better now that I've had Radiesse treatments. I wish you luck with your new regimen. I hope you get undetectable right away..those are good drugs, with no ill side effects. new regimen advice i have been on meds over 20 years and am resistant to most currently approved drugs. i've been on kaletra, truvada, and ziagen for over 2 years and am resistant to all. my cd4 is mid 200s and vl about 35,000. both are fairly stable. my doc now wants to put me on raltegravir, maraviroc, 3tc and possibly prevista. i am not crazy about going on another pi. i have lipo. he said if i start all 4 and need to drop the prevista i could do that without losing the efficacy of the other drugs. the question is should i include the prevista or not. thanks, tom More new features than ever.
