Guest guest Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 In all fairness we do not hear about infections with PMMA or Sculptra, Bio Alcamid does have a unique problem and I have to say that an infection in any one face is a major problem. While the % of infections might be low it should be kept in mind that this % might increase with time effecting more and more long term users. While we do not know if long term use of any fillers will have other side effects, at this times we know for sure that Bio Alcamid can become infected and to me that is a big disqualification, at least in situations where other products are available for use.
