I am back!!

Hey everyone!

I got back to NC a few hours ago! I am beat!! I knew you guys would be eager

to hear about the tapings so here we go! I finally got into LA at about 4:30

on Friday. I was due in at noon! My plane was rerouted due to bad weather in

Dallas and then I missed my connecting flight...it sucked. So, I missed

dinner with everyone on Friday. I was disappointed but I figured I needed to

get some rest before the big day on Saturday. I barely slept Friday night!! I

was so excited and nervous!! I got to the NBC studio at about 11:45 Saturday

morning. I sat around in this big warehouse looking thing waiting for

everyone to show up. A few minutes later and got there. Then

came and Elena. I immediately felt like I had know them forever. They

are all so great! I'll go more into my thoughts about everyone later. OK, so

the clothing nazi checks our outfits. I decided, with help from the girls,

that I will literally die if I try to do the work out in the long sleeved

work out shirt I was wearing. So I scored a black Tae-Bo T-shirt, ya! After a

while the production people let us onto the set. I can't even explain how

surreal it was to turn the corner and them, BAM, there is Tae-Bo. It was so

amazing. After standing around for a bit, we were placed on the stage. I was

put in the third row. We stood around some more and then walked out and

talked to some people on my left, but across the room. He came out so quietly

that I almost didn't notice he was there. The next part is all a blur. I

remember saying " come meet . " I think I said " No " I

remember someone taking me by the hand and kind of dragging me over there. It

may have been Elena or , I can't remember. I was in such shock.

introduced me and told that he had to see the before pictures

that I had brought. I remember telling that I had lost 70 pounds. I

remember him saying that they will have to put me on camera to give a

testimonial. He gave me a hug and I think I almost died. I really could

barely speak. I was very surprised by 's demeanor. He is very mellow,

almost serious. He looks into your eyes when you are talking and speaks

softly. The second the workout started he was that lively that we all

see on the videos. But when you are one on one with him he is very....humble

I guess you'd say. He told me a few times to keep up the good work. Anyway,

that meeting was short. After he gave me the hug, I stumbled back to my

place. nn came out to do the warm up with us. My nerves really got the

best of me. I was so overwhelmed by everything. The lights, the people,

.... I really sucked during the warm up. I had a hard time keeping my

balance on moves that I could do at home with my eyes closed. After the warm

up, we were switched around again and I was moved to the back corner. I am

convinced that it is because I looked terrible, the others say it was to do

with what color I was wearing. Anyway, I was secretly relived to be in the

back. Shellie came out right before the workout and walked through the class.

She said hello to everyone and shook hands with people. She walked by me and

said hey and grabbed my hand as she walked by. All I could think was " Oh My

God, Shellie touched me!! " She is so beautiful in person! I was shocked by

how tiny she is!! She is very very thin. But very very toned. She looked

great! Ok, so the workout starts. The whole thing is a blur. had us do

push ups during the warm up. My nightmare come true. I can't do even one push

up. But, oh well! I tried anyway! The workout was pretty tough. There wasn't

anything new besides the lunge kick thing that is into lately. I had a

very hard time doing double time back kicks. I could not keep my balance. I

am sure I looked ridiculous through the whole workout. I got a really bad

cramp in my side about 10 minutes into it and I spent the rest of the work

out praying to God to just get me through it. I perform so much better at

home!!! The cool down came really fast. I was happy for it to be over. At the

very end, when we are all supposed to circle , I started crying. No one

saw though, thank goodness. I was just so overwhelmed by what I had just

done. We were all told to clear the stage. I went back out to the waiting

area and got myself a copy of AL2 (I didn't have that one-SCORE!!!) Then I

grabbed my copy of The Tae-Bo Way with my before pictures inside and went

back to the set. was standing on the stage talking to someone. When he

was done I approached him and asked if he would like to see my pictures. He

said to show them to him. As he was looking at them he said stuff like " That

is awesome " and " Great work. " Then he asked me to stay there for a minute. He

took my pictures over to some producer people and they started looking at

them. TQ and Shellie and nn wandered over and were looking at the

pictures and then I saw pointing at me. I wondered over to them.

Shellie looked at me and said, " That is awesome!! " She said it a few times.

She is so nice. Then TQ gave me a hug and told me that I look great and that

I am doing a wonderful job. I told her how amazing she looks. I also told her

that I didn't post on the boards but I read them. She said, " You've got to

get on there and motivate people " . Let me say something about TQ. Before I

met her, I never understood what the big deal about her was. I didn't

understand why everyone was so devoted to her. I saw her in the videos and

thought, She is a size 4, ya right! But after meeting her my opinions really

changed. First of all she was extremely friendly and kind to me. She is a

very nice person. As for the whole controversy over her size and all, let me

tell you, that girl is TINY!! Size four my butt! I'd say a 2!! Her arms are

toned, there is no lose skin, this girl is solid. She looks incredible. Then

I started talking to nn. This girl is my new favorite!! She was so nice

to meet. We talked about our kids and she said hers were the same age as

mine. I can't remember what all we said, but I remember feeling very at ease

with her and really liking her.....
