controlling agressive behavior

My son recently switched from Paxil to Prozac and is still having

expreme mood swings, yelling, screaming, calling me names, ripping

school papers, pictures, says he hates me, etc. He won't let me talk

to him, look at him, very, very disrespectful. This " madness " will

last about an hour or so and then he eventually calms down and is back

to normal. I don't know if this is a side effect from taking him off

the Paxil (the medicine was not tapered off) or if the Paxil is still

in his system (Paxil was NOT working for him at all). He was on

Prozac and Strattera last year with great results. However, he is off

the Strattera and on Tripletal for his mood swings. My husband and I

are very frustrated with his behavior, we often argue about how to

handle it. I keep telling him that hopefully the medicine will calm

him down once it builds up in his system. Any suggestions on how to

calm him down?? I have tried everything.
