Hi all! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, etc.

Christmas day was pretty low-key. We had all of

Mike's family over on Sunday the 23rd for dinner and

gifts. They all brought the food, all we had to do

was set the table and get rolls - such a deal! The

boys, as usual, were spoiled with all the toys and

clothes that they got. They got a Leap Frog

Imagination Desk. Just got batteries so that will be

our project when I get home from work to set that up

and see what it does. It looks pretty neat. Talks to

you while you color pictures. We also got the boys

kiddy cassette tape players w/microphones. I thought

that might help " stimulate " speech if they could

" hear " themselves talking. I think we may have

created a monster! Sam sticks the mike in his mouth

and makes all kinds of noises!!! Definitely not a toy

that will get left in their bedroom (I don't want to

wake up to strange " Sam noises " at 5:30am!!).

We drove down to Houstonon Thursday to visit w/Mike's

brother and his wife and attend the

galleryfurniture.com bowl (Texas A & M vs. TCU) on

Friday. Took the boys to their first Aggie game!

They had a great time clapping their little hearts out

for everyone!! Came back home Saturday but detoured

to Cat Spring, TX to stop and have lunch w/Mike's

former boss at his " country retirement home " . A cow

" kissed " 's hand and both boys enjoyed running

around after their dogs. Then we stopped in

Madisonville, TX to say a quick " hello " to our former

Pastor. Fr. Mike baptised the boys in the hospital

when they were 2 days old and was incredibly

supportive to us during their rocky start to life. It

seemed fitting that we'd find ourself in his

" neighborhood " on their birthday!

We don't have any big plans for tonight, other than

trying to stay awake until midnight and drink some

champaign. Hope you all have a safe and happy new

year!
