My virus program checks daily and also checks all my e-mail every 30

minutes. I haven't had the problem. Are you getting the virus from the list

or listmembers?

I have the Norton Corporate Edition (comes free through our University

since Aref works here -- but is protected against sharing with password and

account information and such, it is customized for our computers). It is an

excellent program though. Updates itself every week and takes about 5

seconds to complete an update. I've never had a virus since getting this

program and I used to get them often (people visiting my web site thought

it was funny, they'd name the e-mails " Down syndrome " and rename the title

of the virus into some children's name).

Cheers!

: I've been getting virus's from people who

swear that not only did they not send them, but that

I'm not even in their email address book!!! I think

they were both attachments that said " readme.exe " . If

I get any kind of " .exe " attachment from someone I

usually delete it. These last two I scanned thru

Norton and I think they both had Nimda worm viruses in

them.

Make sure your virus scan's are updated!!

, I too have been getting several viruses. I

usually scan all attachments before I open them. I

didn't know the people that sent them and it made me

so mad that I tried to send them back to the address

that they came from and the address was not legit. I

think it was just someone who was trying to get

satisfaction from others misfortunate because of the

invalid e-mail accounts. Guess whomever intentionally

sent them has more time on their hands than I do.

Just my 2 cents..

(my boyfriend) does computer progamming for a living. I too got the Snow white virus thing and it messed my PC all up. He had to work on it for 2 days to get it to run right. Anyway he said the people who send you the virus may not even know they are sending it out because whoever programs those things makes it to where once it gets in your system it some how gets into your files a little bit at a time. You can delete it off but some of it may still be there and ever time you sned out mail or whatever you could be sending the virus out and don't even know it. Mean little things aren't they???

No problems with viruses. The only problem I have is apparently I'm not receiving all the emails from the list. I see the replies but not the original email.

Got a question about viruses...

I have been wondering is anyone else getting alot of virus especially the HAHAHA one. Has to do with something about snow white.I have gotten it several times in the last 2 weeks. I see it and delete it FAST. I am so tired of it. Also if anyone even if I know you. I rarely open files and attachment. Wondering if anyone elses is having this problem.
