I was hoping to go East sometime this summer but no such luck. I was going to try and meet with Marcia last summer but never made it to Oregon. I always have good intentions but can never seem to get any where. I would like to get together, maybe we can plan a N.W. get together with everyone around the vacinity! Kim mom to Abbi and Ds - 3 1/2 and Mikayla - 6 Washington state? Kim, I don't remember. . . . where in Washington do you live? I am in Spokane, but will be driving across to the Seattle area in October sometime. Maybe we could meet? I will have my car and be pretty free to travel, so I'll let you know when the trip gets closer. I would love to meet -- and yes, I'd be in favor of organizing a NW meeting sometime! Guest guest Posted August 4, 2001 Report Share Posted August 4, 2001 Hi Kim and Casey, My sister lives near Kirkland, in Redmond, and I really do need to get up to see her sometime--I have a trip planned the first few days of October to Reno with another sister and some friends; but, if your meeting was any other time in October on a weekend, maybe the kids and I would be open to heading up. We fly in on Monday, October 1st and take a shuttle bus to the Silver Legacy, where we stay Monday night and Tuesday night, so I won't have a car, but if you're in the area of where we are staying during that time, it would be fun to meet! We spend the school year in Eugene. It's been great hearing about all the potty training efforts. Brett is showing some readiness, but we haven't seriously started a schedule yet. I had him dressed and ready for school the other day, and looked up to see him in nothing but his shirt. I found his pants, diaper and sandals on the bathroom floor and he had peed ON the potty. I was thrilled! Greetings to all the new members! This summer has been hectic and I'm way behind on email.
