Standard strength and form of ALA and DMSA

What form does ALA and DMSA come in (capsule, caplet, gelcap, liquid,

powder??) and is there a standard strength that it's available in? I'm

particularly interested in the supplements that are available without the

doctor's Rx from HFS or Kirkman's.

If a child weighs 65 pounds (29.5 kg), the dosage would be approximately

30-60 mg for both DMSA and ALA every 3-4 hours round the clock for 3-4 days

and then off 3-4 days...is this right? And urinalysis run every few weeks?

Start at the higher dosage and reduce it by half if negative effects

occur??? Have patience with me... just want to be sure I'm clear with what

I'm reading : ).

Perhaps a silly question but, if the child is quite healthy prior to

chelation are the risks of side effects less?

Someone else posted a few days ago about HBOT. The doctor we saw mentioned

using this as well. If anyone had any + or - comments about this therapy I'd

also be interested hearing.
