Guest guest
Charlyne, Craig's had more surgeries than birthdays; I know how hard the wait is--believe me! I hope this suggestion isn't too late--would your dr./anesthesiologist give the OK for Zeb to take a mild anti-anxiety med the morning of the surgery? Craig's last surgery he took .5 mg. of Xanax and that made the day go so much more smoothly. And instead of the mask, which he fights, I had them give him an IV while he was still with me, so I could keep him calm. Then when they took him, they just put the anesthesia in the IV and he was out right away without any fighting. Versed doesn't do the trick anymore with Craig either. GOOD LUCK to you and Zeb......we'll be thinking of you and looking for an update when you are up to it. Bev mom to Craig, 17, Magenis Syndrome in PA, where they are calling for more sleet/freezing rain again tomorrow!!!!!
