My Neurologist warns of expensive treatments

Can't remember if I already posted this or not. Just wanted to let you know that just before Christmas, I took my son to the Ped. Neurologist. One of the last things he told me before we left was to "beware of treatments which are too good to be true, esp. if expensive!" This was after an hour and a half of him telling me there is no obvious cause for my son's autism and that there is nothing that can be done except to medicate and sedate. I have been to many neurologists and expected as much, but was ready to try something that might help my son focus a little for the time being. The really hillarious part of this--or sad part--was that as I left his office, I had to pay my bill. $300 for one visit!!!!! I guess the person he was warning me about was himself. What a joke!!! And then I had to pay for parking. Remind me not!

to go back there!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2001 WILL BE THE YEAR FOR OUR CHILDREN!

Love,
