Dear Pat,

Your report pulled at my heartstrings. What your son is going through

we can only imagine (if we dare!). My daughter is very similar to your son

and we have tried many of the interventions you mentioned. We are seeing

real hope now that chelation has begun. In the meantime, I do highly

recommend a book by the autistic woman Donna called " AUTISM: an

Inside-Out Approach " which sheds some light on what our sensory-overwhelmed

children are experiencing and how to help them; how to make their lives

calmer and help them focus on the the sensory input they need to rather than

being BOMBARDED with too much. It has helped my daughter and myself and I

feel so SO happy to be able to understand her more and help her more. I can

not recommend this book enough!

It sounds as though your son will see nothing but improvement with

chelation! Good luck to you both!
