....therefore if you refuse to vaccinate or question vaccines...are you

not a loving parent?????

Dr. Dwelle had this article in the paper in ND....Bismarck Trib.

Dr. Dwelle is the State Health Officer.

Vaccination is an act of love

By Dr. Terry Dwelle

Dear Dr. Dwelle,

I read your article about vaccines and controversial link to

autism. This is of course the most heated debate in medicine

and it shows no signs of lessening. Many many parents reading

your article would be struck by the sentence--

" Vaccination truly is an act of love. "

These are the people, myself included, who took their

previously healthy, normally developing children to the doctor for

check-ups and after vaccinations, many containing the mercury-based

preservative thimerosal, these children regressed into autism. They

developed concomitant health problems like bowel disorders, severe

allergies, asthma, and epilepsy. For years countless parents have

been saying exactly what the Poling did at their press conference:

Vaccines injured their children.

" Immunizations save lives. In fact, other

than safe drinking water, no public health intervention in history has

saved more lives. "

Just saying that vaccines save lives doesn't preclude that

they also have serious and damaging side effects.

" Recently, the

federal government reached a settlement with a Georgia family who said

that their child was harmed by vaccinations she had received. According

to news reports, the child had an underlying medical condition that may

have been aggravated by the vaccines, triggering autistic-like

symptoms. "

In

Scandals: The Shots Heard 'Round the

World, Sandy Gottstein wrote this about the case:

The court found that an underlying mitochondrial disorder was

" worsened " by vaccines, resulting in " autistic-like "

symptoms. (In case you are wondering, there is no difference between

autism and autistic-like symptoms since autism is defined by those

symptoms.) The clear-cut connection ended the case early.

The government and the medical profession would like us to believe that

the condition is rare, and that the vaccines Hannah received were among

many environmental factors that theoretically could have pushed her over

the edge, although they concede in this case that it was the vaccines.

What the government and the medical profession do not want us to

consider, however, is that the vaccines might have caused the

mitochondrial condition in the first place. Yet there is evidence (e.g.

1) that vaccines can do exactly

that.

Since autism is defined by symptoms, to say " autism-like

symptoms " is the same as autism. I'm sure in Hannah Poling's

medical records it says, autism, not " autism-like

symptoms. "

Deirdre Imus is founder and president of the Deirdre Imus

Environmental Center for Pediatric Oncology, part of Hackensack

University Medical Center (HUMC) in New Jersey and also a cofounder and

co-director of the Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids with Cancer. She

recently talked about the word game currently being used with the term

" autism-like symptoms " on her husband's radio/TV show:

The Poling case has put this controversy directly into the spot light and

many thousands of parents who were previously unaware of this issue are

now asking questions. They're hearing local families on TV stations

from South Carolina to San Diego tell about how their children regressed

into autism after vaccinations. Many parents are quoted saying that

they wouldn't vaccinate another child. The link, Clean Vaccines

in Oklahoma

http://cleanupvaccines.blogspot.com/, has a number of these

reports.

This ad ran in USA Today on Feb 12 and 29:

Green our vaccines. And administer them with

greater care.

http://www.generationrescue.org/pdf/080212.pdf It's a

wakeup call on the need for safe vaccines.

You write, " In fact, at least 16 studies

into vaccines and autism have found no link between the two. "

This is also what the Centers for Disease Control and

Prevention is always telling the public, but those studies are not proof

of anything. They are epidemiological studies. They're the

same kind done by the tobacco industry in the 1940s and 50s as proof that

smoking didn't cause lung cancer. The results can be easily

manipulated to get the findings the researcher wants. What's

missing here is even one toxicological study on the mercury preservative

used in vaccines that can show a level where it isn't toxic.

There's never been one that could find that level.

I wrote a piece about the studies the government uses called

" Studies Show No Link " published in 2007

Anne McElroy

Dachel

: Never Mind

the Mercury.

Actually lots of studies show a link between unsafe vaccines and the

epidemic of autism. More and more questions are being raised.

Do a search for Dr. Boyd Haley, University of Kentucky; Dr.

Mady Hornig, Columbia University, Dr. Burbacher,

University of Washington; Dr. Mark Geier, President of

The Genetic Centers of America and Geier, Vice President of

The Institute of Chronic Illnesses, and Dr. Jill , University

of Arkansas. They are just a handful of the independent scientists whose

work links vaccines to neurological damage in our children.

Research on vaccines can be found on this link:

http://www.generationrescue.org/studies.html

The National Autism Association has said that while officials continue to

claim that there is no science linking vaccines to autism, many

peer-reviewed published studies confirm the link between vaccinations and

neurological injuries with symptoms nearly identical to autism spectrum

disorders (To view some of the relevant studies, visit

http://www.national autismassociatio

n.org/library. php )

This is not a simple issue. The medical community and the federal

health agencies have watched the autism rate in the U.S. explode from one

in 10,000 children in the 1970s to one in every 150 today, including one

in every 94 boys, and they've sounded no alarm. They ignored

thousands of parents who linked their child's regression into autism to

the vaccines they received. They promoted the groundless claim that

some elusive autism gene is responsible for the overwhelming numbers of

disabled children who weren't here twenty years ago, and they have

refused to address the controversy openly and honestly. These

medical officials are out of time. A growing number of

well-credentialed experts are taking a public stand on the issue of

unsafe vaccines and autism. Their voices will be the ones parents

will be listening to.

This is a subject that is getting increased national attention and it

deserves accurate and fair coverage. We're seeing more and more

examples of that kind of reporting.
