Guest guest
I was talking to a friend last night - who wanted to know more about the Vaccines, since they just had a baby. He told me that they drew blood on his wife and determined that she needed the MMR. And also informed them, that the Pediatrician would not do an exam on their new son unless he had the Hep B. ( Their Pediatrician was out of town, so they were stuck with the one on call). I was sick when I heard all this - Big Pharma has found another way to keep giving vaccinations - well into adulthood! I guess once your at the hospital they feel they gotcha and going to push the vaccine's on you. We have got to educate the public more, our friends and family. Guest guest
I would refuse the vaccine and threaten to sue to the hospital for denying the examination! What chance is there of that baby getting HepB in the first seven years of life???? The baby doesn't share needles or have sex... it's pure bullying and someone needs to cry " bullshit! Guest guest
I would file a complaint with the state medical board. If the doctor refused treatment, he had an obligation to provide the patient with information/assistance in finding a practitioner who would examine the child. We've studied this extensively in medical law, any practitioner has a professional obligation to do this, he clearly did not. I was one of those who don't hold a titer to rubella, I got a shot 24 hrs postpartum with my Allie Kat. Debi
Guest guest
I know another mom this happened to. She got sick immediately after the shot. She's an OT none the less...and she's petrified. I can't believe what is happening. Was told today they are introducing a vaccine for leukemia. Can you even IMAGINE?????? All individuals developed acute polyarticular arthritis within 12 days to three weeks postimmunization and have had continuing chronic or recurrent arthralgia or arthritis for two to seven years after vaccination. Acute neurological manifestations, consisting of carpal tunnel syndrome or multiple paresthesiae, developed postvaccination in three women. Two have developed continuing active or chronic recurrent episodes of blurred vision, paresthesiae, and painful limb syndromes together with recurrent joint symptoms. Chronic rubella viremia has been detected in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (MNC) populations in five of the six women up to six years after vaccination. In addition rubella virus was isolated from breast milk MNCs in one individual at nine months postvaccination and from peripheral blood MNCs in two of four breast-fed infants studied at 12-18 months of age. Immune responses to rubella virus studied at sequential intervals after vaccination correlated with development of rheumatologic and neurological manifestations.PMID: 4031558 [PubMed - indexed for MEDLINE]At 10:01 AM 3/19/2008, you wrote: I was talking to a friend last night - who wanted to know more about the Vaccines, since they just had a baby. Guest guest
New parents are driven by fear. Especially first time parents. Things had changed so dramatically between my second and third child (they are 10 years apart) I felt like I was learning all over again. Having some pharma background I was not easily swayed and made what I felt were informed decisions (certainly not informed enough!). At that time (spring, 1999) the first rotovirus vaccine was introduced, I responded with an immediate NO WAY, only to be lectured by the ped, telling me how surprised he was and that someone with my background "should know better." Yes I certainly did know better. I got a call two months later, asking if my child had that vaccine, that it was recalled because babies were presenting with bowel obstruction. Yeah...I knew better. And he's the MD. Go figure. When I began seeing my child become viral and I stopped the immunizations immediately, I got the same lecture. What I did was avoid what would have been a train wreck. This is the same doc that discounted biomed, DAN and Andy Cutler and the very same doctor that is amazed with my son now and sits with me and says "now...what is it that you did with him???" I tell him he's the one who knows better. Go back to med school and learn something this time. Guest guest
According to paperwork I stumbled across recently as I was organizing, I received a rubella (I always thought it was an MMR but the paperwork they gave me is a fact sheet for rubella) after I delivered my first child because titers drawn during pregnancy indicated I had no immunity to it. One of my twins, delivered 23 months later, has ASD.

Guest guest
The nurse and her superiors should have heard from your lawyer the very next day! > > I had the MMR also the day I left the hospital after I had my son, I was > also breastfeeding!
