There was a good comment on DK's blog someone wrote:

Kim, However, the problem remains that all of these ( including our) kids exhibit signs of mercury toxicity. actually autistic, right? And what exactly was the point of the Autism Speaks "Learn the Signs" campaign? I should think those folks are a bit miffed. Funny, I havent' seen much from them yet.>> This "autism-like stuff" is total B.S.

Aasa, my point is that if our kids don't have " autism " what the heck

are the doing getting all these services? In other words, the " autism

like symptoms " are.... autism. After all, the doc diagnosed autism by a

check list of symptoms. Sorry I wasn't clear = I'm pretty tired

after a busy week! (Aren't we all?)

Best,

I am now also wondering what future implications this may have with HBOT. It is

well

known that HBOT improves mitochondrial function and replication. There has been

one

study with HBOT and autism done with favorable outcomes. I think that there

should be

more research in this area also.

We have too.  I think the one that took the cake (after the Early Intervention found sensory integration dysfunction, fine motor coordination problems, expressive and receptive speech delay, and social concerns) was the pediatrician who saw my grandson for the first time, pre-diagnosis, and said to his father, "Does he have autism?" His father's response was no, but when we got in the car it was, "He's asking ME?"Peace,Kathy E.On Mar 7, 2008, at 8:44 PM, Amy W. For the record I do not find it funny,I was mocking the ludicrous

spin of autism like symptoms btw I have a mercury damaged child also.
