Emma Brag!!

Yes folks, it's my turn for a brag! That in itself is exciting!! I have just stopped hyperventilating because of my experience with Emma this morning!

Got Emma up as usual and she seemed in a particularly good mood (I instantly got worried LOL). Getting her dressed ready for school, I went to help her on with her pullups. She signed "toilet". I had forgotten to take her. (Every morning I take her and every morning, she sits for a few seconds and does nothing and then signs "finished" so we go back to getting dressed). I was amazed that she remembered so I took her to the bathroom and I noticed she wasn't behind me. Emma has stayed in her room and wee'd on the carpet. I went to see where she was and she was standing looking what she had proudly produced and said "WEE". Then she signed and tried to say "Emma wee naughty"! I told her that she wasn't naughty and that she should wee in the toilet. Emma said "Yeah yeah" signed toilet and took herself into the bathroom. She performed once more in the loo and then went back to her bedroom.

Picture me! Standing there, mouth hanging open, eyes wide and speechless. Emma has never said so much in her life let alone spontaneously organising herself to the toilet! WHOPPEE! Life is good isn't it?? Well, sometimes!!
