Guest guest
Gail, Your babies are a little farther along than mine. J and E are crawling all over and sitting up. Can't put themselves into siting position though. Jon is pulling himself up on people when he can get a hold of clothing, but not pulling himself up on furniture. I think it's coming because he's pretty strong and we think he will walk first. He already loves to have you walk him. is not there yet. She is a little peanut - just over 11 lbs at 9 mos.! She loves to sit up if you help her. She can pull herself up if holding your hands. She has a long torso which I think makes it a little harder for her. She is no where near being up on her hands and knees. She gets PT for 45 min. once a week and OT will start in Jan. She is eating well, just not lots. I didn't get to see your pictures because I receive these messages via digest form. Could Sara or you please send the photos directly to me? I would love to see them!! Happy Holidays to all. The holidays are so much fun with children! It really brings out the child in you as well. 1999 will never be forgotten! Kay Tiernan (mom to , , -ds 9 mos. on the 26th) ============================ Message: 8 Date: Tue, 21 Dec 1999 13:15:22 -0500 From: GVanHouten <rjvh@...> Subject: Re: 9 mos. old and meals Hello Kay, My twins are also 9 months this week. and Tara{Ds}. I enjoyed your recent picture of your family, and I hope you got to see my bunch, Sara scanned them on here for me recently. How are your babies doing? How are all your services going? of course is pulling to stand on everything, and has just started to step between the coffe table and couch{not far between the 2} Tara is up on all 4's, rocks back and forth then scoots backwards. She does sit independently, after you put her in that position. She can't get to sitting by herself yet, but she does sit and play for a long while, that has been her new trick these days. She also does " soo big! " with her arms up in the air. Their 9 month well check is the Monday after Christmas, but due to recent colds, they were just weighd. is 19lbs., and Tara is 17lbs. We have PT 2x/month for an hour, Speech and OT 1x/month for an hour. Everyone seems to be " OK " with her progress. I do know of a doctor who is a developmental pediatrician, specializing in Ds. Tara has her one year check with this doctor, along with our reg. doc., scheduled for March, anxious to see what happens at this visit! And, I can't believe it WILL be ONE YEAR in 3 short months!........ What a Year this has been for me and my husband and children! Hope all is well with your " bunch " , and you ARE VERY lucky to have such wonderful help at home, it does make it easier to leave your house every am! warm regards Gail mom to Bobby-5 1/2, Jillian-3, and Tara{Ds}9months
