Handicap placard/Lynn...IEP suggestions

Hi, Everyone......Donna....we are talking about the blue/white handicap

placards that hang from your rear view mirror so you can park in the special

spots. Lots of our kids can't/won't walk long distances for many different

reasons. A lot of us thought that our kids didn't 'meet' the criteria for

disabled, but when you're trying to lug an 80# plus kid across the parking

lot or you have a child doing the drop/flop in the middle of a parking lot,

you soon realize that you need help. Lynn...I am not good

with IEP suggestions, but I am sure someone will answer. You're near

burg, right? Are you in the Derry township school district?
