Nosepiece - either to an independent air source or out of the immediate area. Damp gauze protection for the eyes - glasses may be acceptable if the patient feels claustrophobic. Filtration of air for mercury - preferably using a dedicated unit scavenging close to the mouth. Huggins recommends more I think.............
