Guest guest
What is AS lobbying for regarding insurance? Are they asking for " mental health " parity specifically or are they calling it autism parity? What are they asking to have covered? Sorry if I missed any related posts. I've been away and am out of the loop. > > > > > > > > > > Here's the photo I saw: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Actually, they are using the PA legislation as a template for the rest of the country. And they've been doing a good job here in PA of lobbying. However, that said, I will say that I worked on the legislation with a few other people, one of whom actually WROTE THE LEGISLATION and they swooped in, had a big " to do " at the capital, didn't give the person who WROTE the legislation one iota of credit, and then took their Hollywood star power and swooped back up to NYC. We worked on that legislation for years. While the guy who wrote it is quite humble and forgiving, I'm not. They came in and took credit for all of the work we did for the past four to five years. They took his legislation and made it their " template " for the rest of the nation. Seriously, no credit given whatsoever for the man who actually WROTE the legislation. So I hope you like it because Autism Speaks has spoken and that's what you're getting. -- In EOHarm , " anacat_11 " <anacat_11@...> wrote: > > What is AS lobbying for regarding insurance?
