Guest guest
Greg - I am in agreement. I just watched an old episode of Colbert when he interviewed .Here in Phoenix, I have been keeping track of 08 presidential bumper stickers and for every ONE shillary, I see TWO for .Rox OT: Ron I see some talk about presidential candidates. I'll add my 3 cents. I have never been very enthusiastic about politics. It seems like every time we elect a president we are more or less just choosing the lesser of two evils. It seems that the two parties we have in our country are just two sides of the same coin. You really never have a choice to vote for someone who is truly independent and who truly cares about regular people. This year is different. I have never been as excited about a presidential candidate as I am about Dr. Ron . Dr. believes in the Constitution and he is not ashamed to say it. He's honest and straightforward. He doesn't take money from the Washington lobbyists or big corporate interests. His support comes from regular people from all backgrounds and all parts of the country. I am excited to finally have a genuine straight-talking person to vote for. And as previously posted, he is firmly against mandatory vaccination. I think it's fair to say he will drastically shake up the CDC like never before. Maybe he will end their stranglehold around the necks of our innocent children. And maybe finally justice can be served. If you want status quo, vote for Shillary, Annie, or any of the other plasticized faces. But if you want real change, the answer is Ron . And don't believe the polls you see. There is a large segment of voters not being polled such as young, new voters and independents. And also, believe me, the Ron voters are all going to vote giving him almost 100% turnout. The rest of the apathetic voters are mostly going to stay home. I think we really have a chance to shake things up in this election. Maybe, I'm being naive, but it really seems that Dr. Ron is the real thing. BTW, Dr. will be on "Meet the Press" with Tim Russert this Sunday. Thanks, Greg Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
That is the problem. You can’t vote for someone based on one issue alone. Yes, autism is important to me- but so is the Iraq war. My ex almost got sent to Iraq a few months ago- this is real. Thousands of people are dying- Americans AND Iraqis. The price of gas and oil. The real estate market. Taxes, cost of living, THE ENVIRONMENT, women’s rights, freedom of religion, the bill of rights, etc. The list of important issues is endless. I take photos for local politicians and I’ve seen Hillary, Bill, NY Sen. Schumer, NY Gov. Spitzer, NY congressman Bishop and countless state, county and town officials speak. Probably a total of 30 speeches/debates. Do you know how many times autism has been mentioned? ZERO. Except of course if it’s an autism related press conference. But, when they are speaking to the public in general- I have never heard them talk about autism. Once in a while I’ll hear a reference to special education or the environment- but that’s about as close as we get. Plus- these people are politicians. “President Bush” even said he wanted to take Thimerosal out of vaccines and then didn’t. How do we know they are going to follow through with their promises (whatever they are)? I’m not sure who I am going to vote for- but I’m going to be celebrating that Bush is finally out of office. Guest guest
YES!!!! RON PAUL IS THE MAN!!!! He is the most honest and trust worthy in the whole bunch and he believes in getting the troops back and stopping this illegal war. He also believes that we are OVER vaccinating our children and that they (pediatricians) need to be aware of the real side effects of the vaccines. I was never really into any candidate---just voted for the one I hated the least but with Ron I feel there will be real change for the better. Thank GOD there are so many of us in cyber space that love this man--he raised over 10 million dollars, more then any candidate, in under 1 week---don't believe the polls or CNN/FOX because they want to ignor the truth that RP has a lot of support out there. His interview on Meet the Press last Sunday was amazing--he really gave it to Tim Russert! He also HATES special interests groups and hates lobbists who control the gov't today. He wants to get rid of a lot of gov't waste--let's hope he starts with the FDA! Tina > > I see some talk about presidential candidates. Guest guest
He would do the same thing with the repub establishment as the dem establishment. He couldn't do any more as a dem than a repub 'cause they're all full of <blank> That said, he does have concrete, good ideas and he might be able to to turn them closer to reasonable legislation, whereas the average candidate is so full of it they will only perpetuate the same bull we've had for decades. Guest guest
Also, I'd just be thrilled if he used the " bully pulpit " to TALK about vaccines. That would be awesome. > > > > Yes, I think Ron is neat, BUT What the @#%^$^ & (*? is he going > to do with the republican vested interest that are BUILT into Place, > there is THE dilemma...sorry to bring this up, but a Prince would > still have to deal with the inplace establishment.
