Guest guest
nna, My dd does this too? Can I ask what you've done to stop this? She goes go through a roll of toilet paper a day. The teacher is having a very hard time with this issue also. Hugs Judy in CT nna <mdonlon@...> wrote: Her main issue at the moment is feeling the need to pee after she's just gone. We've faced this one before, no infection, just OCD. She can't get off the toilet, and when she does she runs around in a panic saying she's peeing in her pants (which she has yet to do). She gets upset thinking about having to go at school and then getting that " feeling " .
Guest guest
nna, My dd cries about going to school also. The teacher told me she asks constantly to go to the bathroom with a look of urgency on her face. She wanted me to get her tested for a UTI, which I did, and of course she doesn't have one. It's that @#$@ OCD!!!!! My dd is 9, and has just started with the peeing thing a few months ago.(Another obsession). Her school knows about the ocd, but I don't think her teacher is too knowledgeable about it.She is in 4th grade, and will be going to the Intermediate school in the fall, so I think they just want to finish out the year with her. Thanks for sharing! hugs Judy
Guest guest
Out of curiosity could by any chance her pee problem be due to stress from school? How old is she? The reason I ask is I remember my mom telling me that when she was little she would get nervous and it would make her have to go to the bathroom. She said the more she thought about it the worse it got. Sheree

Guest guest
Hi nna, actually doesn't have a bathroom in her class. She has to get up and ask to go down the hall. I think that's part of the reason she hates school so much, seeing everyone must be looking at her and wondering why she is going to the bathroom all day. Your right! You just CAN'T win! Guest guest
Sheree, Yes, I think my dd's pee problem could be from stress at school, but yet she does it at home also. She is 9.I think it is mainly from either the ocd or her anxiety. I don't know what to do with her!!!!!!!!!! Hugs Judy
Guest guest
nna, My dd's problem sounds like your dd, and they are around the same age. I think, like you said, the more they think about it,the worse it is. hugs Judy

Guest guest
Sheree, No meds at this time until we complete her evaluation. She has been on all sorts of meds in the past, but has never tried what I think she really needs. Thanks, and hugs Judy adfield@... wrote: Judy, Does she take medication?
