How about the story of Maynard, a boy who was born without arms or legs,

yet became a champion wrestler. Here's info on him:

http://www.kmaynard.com/about.html

And here's a book about him called " No Excuses " , sold on Amazon:

question about movies/books

Hi,

I am trying to find inspirational movies/books about sick

children/teenagers who successfully fight their

disease/disorder/disability and who find a way to live a happy life

despite their health problem (the happy ending is a MUST). Seeing

documentaries about OCD has helped my 13 year-old son to realize that

it's not his fault and that he needs to work hard to overcome his

irrational fears. I also read him stories about OCD, but it gets old

and boring, and I would like to try something new. Any suggestions will

be greatly appreciated.

na B.
