Guest guest
Wanted to share some happiness this day ...my ASD 6 year old graduates kindergarten today! I was very worried about how this school year would go and in the end it turned out better than I could have hoped for. He has done so amazingly well. I am going to try my hardest to continue the educational learning at home this summer but is very resistant to me teaching him anything so we will see how it goes. I am enjoying my last hours before school is over and I am so very thankful to our school systen for making this school year such a success. Have a great day everyone!! Guest guest
Thanks Pat! To me, my days are such a challenge with my little guy but when compared to the stories I read on here I see that I am truly blessed and my heart goes out to all those with greater challenges than I with their young ones. I only wish my older Aspie son could have gotten the correct help 10 years ago and maybe he would be able to be at home now instead of residential placements.
