What hotel are they staying at ?

We found a real gem in the rough - the Homewood Suites by Hilton, Lake buena vista

It's 5 minutes from downtown Disney and off the beaten path, it's clean, new and the rooms have full kitchens... they also offer a free breakfast... but we did a lot of cooking in the kitchen to avoid crowded restaurants.... it's affordable and very very nice... we stay there every time we go ... we've been there 26 times in the past 2 years with our 5 year old autistic child ...

When you get into the park you just go to guest services and tell them you have a child with autism ... they don't need any proof or paperwork... they give you an awesome little red pass that you show at the entrance to every ride and you skip the lines and walk on each ride... we used that pass in all 4 parks... you only need to get one pass, it's good for every park for every day of your vacation... and it's good for the entire family, up to 8 people...it was a lifesaver... we were able to get our son and our family on every ride with less then 5 minutes wait time...

Disneyworld is also great about assisting with arrangements for special diets. It requires some planning ahead by and deciding where in the park you'll eat, however it's worth it for those of us who always have to bring our meals on the go, one less thing to carry!
