This one is about childhood bipolar, but I am sure other parents of special needs children can relate too.... This one is about Autism: There are a couple others also if you are interested. Janice from MA Me: Fibromyalgia, ADHD, PTSD, High Blood Pressure meds, magnesium, Vitamin D, Calcium supplements, Trazadone, Zoloft. DH: BP, PTSD, 9 psych meds and diabetes med. Mom to: Elijah: age 7; counseling since age 3. DX: PDD-NOS, BP, GAD, ADHD, SPD, NLD, Receptive Expressive Language Disorder; Delays: Global Brain Based, Fine Motor,, Academic, Executive Functioning, Developmental Urinary and Fecal Incontinence daily. Meds: Abilify 15 mg, Clonidine .1 mg, Lithium Carbonate ER 450 mg am/300 pm, Tenex 2 mg; School: 1st grade~IEP~substantially seperate E/D SPED classroom, direct PT, OT, S/I, Speech, and Counseling services, extended school year, full time 1:1 aid... Charlie: stepson (DH and I got custody at age 10...) age 15 released from RTC on 6/26, voluntary DCF involvement; DX: Mood Disorder NOS, ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorder, Complex Severe PTSD; Meds: None; School: Substantially Seperate classroom with a behavioral component and level system. Natasia: age 10 w/o dx's. : age 13 w/o dx's. Blog: "Wonders In The Night" about raising 2 special needs children. Private, but request an invite with your email address and I will send you one....
