Between being both a college Learning Specialists and a parent who raised a son with LD/ADD, I've had 35 years of experience working with students with learning disabilities. Where I work, I see a very high failure rate among this cohort. Yet my son graduated college successfully. What did he do differently ? Between my professional and personal experience, I've learned A LOT. My son's success made me passionate about success for others with his profile (normal intelligence, motivated, acknowledges disability, desire to go to college).
