There is absolutely nothing better than seeing our kids interacting and having fun with their peers...way to go Isaiah!!! Way to go Hunter!!

( who admits to buying the "cool" toys and throwing the best parties for the kids...if you build it they will come. LOL)

Hi all,I rarely post, because my life lately is all up in chaos, more than before.I have 4 kids, two on the spectrum...Isaiah is 5, and Calista is 4. Isaiah has classic autism, Calista is PDD-NOS.Well, my good news is that Isaiah made a friend yesterday. I was beside myself...my neighbor's grandson who is 7 and lives with them, wanted to play with Isaiah, and they knew of his autism. I was really afraid that Isaiah would run away or react, especially when they stood at the end the properties looking at each other (our backyards connect diagonally, we don't have fences.) Anyway, they play for HOURS. They were glued at the hip. Isaiah even actually played catch with the little boy (name is Hunter). I had to bring Isaiah in to eat dinner and Hunter asked if Isaiah could play afterwards, I said sure, so Isaiah inhaled his dinner and ran back out. Hunter came to our backyard (we have a big playground) and they were glued at the hip, then played for 2 more hours outside.
