Guest guest
I would like to ask if what others are paying for scultra injections. I qualified under the patient assist program, but had trouble finding a physician willing to work with me on the program although it involved very little effort on their part. I had all the forms and paperwork filled out, they just needed to sign and check a few boxes and send in the paperwork. I found the doctors listed on the scultra website seened to only want to use it for cosmetic purposes, off use, and not to treat patients for its intended use. I finally found a doctor and really liked her, however it is her Physician Assistant who actually does the injections. She does a igreat job and everyone if the office is great, no lumps or bumps either, but charges $500.00 a session for the injection. When I first went to her she said she would do two viles for the the same fee, but changed after the first visit and will only do one vile a visit. She said there was little shown increased effect with two viles? I was lucky that the actual doctor used me for a training session at no cost for either product or procedure for my first time. I do use money from my medical Flexible Spending Account at work to save some tax money, which helps. My question is seems a little high to me since the PA and not the doctor does the procedure and will only use one vile. I was wondering what others pay and if anyone knows of a doctor in the Denver area that is willing to work with the patient assist program or should I count my blessings that I someone I like who does a great job?
