An infection with scupltra would be due to the

injection site,

and most likely be minor.

With Bio alcamid you have a permanent liquid filler

that

can host the infection.

Also once sculptra is absorbed there is no risk of any

infection, with

Bio Alcamid the risk is permanently present.

In regard to granulomas, they can be melted with

injections of cortisone and they are really a minor

problem in comparison with

having lypodistrophy.

Granted it would be best to have better solutions, but

as of now we

do not.

In my opinion, given the plus and minus of all 3

products, sculptra has the least side effects given

the non permanent nature of the product, while PMMA

offers a permanent solution without risks of

infections.

While Bio Alcamid offers immediate results but from

what I have heard and the pictures I have seen at 3

doctors office can migrate or become infected.

What would be interesting to find out and only time

will tell, is

what kind of consequences there will be with the use

of long term implants.

And because aging causes skin to loosen up or as Dr.

Englehart used to say " Gravity always takes its

toll " which implant will hold better and which one

will migrate the most, especially when it comes to the

buttocks, after all we do sit on it.
