Guest guest
in Missouri: Many of us are coping with the increased cost of our regimens associated with Medicare Part D. We are fortunate here in Michigan that ADAP picks up most of our deductibles and co-pays, but it increased my drug budget about $2000 a year. I hope someone out there in this group can suggest some answers for you. Do you have a case manager? Does your doctor know of your troubles? The drug companies may be able to offer some assistance, with his help. I wish you the best of luck. Ricky in Michigan PS - Does anyone ever notice that with all the political talk of our upcoming presidential race, all the "health care" plans are offered from the perspective of healthy people. NEVER a mention of the chronically ill. WE should be especially worried about the Republican offered pay-as-you-go, and "patient responsibility" offered under the guise "if we have to pay for it, we will be more responsible." These plans would further bankrupt the chronically ill. Everyone needs to really, really be interested in this next race.
