Guest guest
Well hang in there. When my son was age 3 he is 6 now we had hamsters. Well needless to say he dropped three of them and they fell to there death. With him being so young I assumed that it was an accident. He had never hurt any of our other animals. I'm sure your son did not intend to do harm but the fact that he doesn't understand what he did is the problem. I'm pretty sure that a lack of empathy or remorse can be consistent with the diagnosis. I'm sure you are scared for him and for yourself. Take care and trust that this too shall pass and hopefully you will get some help ASAPSent from my BlackBerry Smartphone provided by AlltelFrom: "pure_sweetness_27" <pure_sweetness_27@...>Date: Tue, 29 Dec 2009 23:15:46 -0000<autism >Subject: Re: (unknown) Well I have to go thru our insurence so I'm limited on what I can do, and yes he was in early intervention but that stopped when he turned 3 years old and was put into the school system and I don't know if the school has anything availble or not the schools here are out until Jan 4th..... He is verbal but he mostly scripts when talking or he talks as a 3rd person >> Well if you don't hear anything tomorrow then I would try and go somewhere else. Is your son verbal? Has he been involved in an early intervention programs? Are there any resources where he attends school? > Sent from my BlackBerry Smartphone provided by Alltel> > (unknown)> > Well I got him in with a social worker first thing this morning an she has to find someone capable of dealing with him said he is too severe! So I get to wait by the phone for a call. But she is tryingto down play the severity of this I know this is serious and NOT normal or ok and she was trying to tell me it was!>
