Guest guest
Aid for AIDS has been running a campaign called ‘Be A Hero’, in New York - where they encourage people to donate their unused & unexpired medications to them. And while the campaign has greatly increased the amount of medication donated, they have no control over what they receive. Normally they have @ least 6 months worth of medications in their stock for each patient, but they are now faced w/ a serious shortage of 9 of their medications. As you know, it is vital to the success of HIV treatment that the supply of medication is unbroken - so it's vitally important for us to get the word out quickly that they need certain medications. They need: Viread x 300mg • Emtriva x 200mg • Truvada x 300mg/200mg • Reyataz x 150mg • Emtriva x 200mg • Retrovir x 300mg/100mg • Viracept x 250mg • Ziagen x 300mg & Sustiva 600mgCall 212.337.8043 ex 325 or recycle@... for more info. There are numerous secure drop off boxes thru-out Manhattan where people can safely deposit medications:GMHC:• 119 W 24 St, NY, NY 10011 (lobby, 6th & 12th Fl)Hispanic Aids Forum:• Manhattan: 213 W 35 St, 12 Fl, NY, NY 10001• Bronx: 886 Westchester Ave, Bronx, NY 10459• Queens: 62-07 Woodside Ave 3 Fl, Woodside, NY 11377 The LGB & T Community Center:• 208 W 13 St, NY NY 10012 Housing Works:• 743-749 E 9 St, NY, NY 10009Aids Center of Queens County:• Rego Park: 97-45 Queens Blvd, 12 Fl, Rego Park, NY 11374• Jamaica: 175-61 Hillside Ave, #403, Jamaica, NY 11432• Far Rockaway: 1600 Central Ave, Far Rockaway, NY 11691• Long Island City site: 44-51 A 11 St, LIC, NY 11101 Aid For Aids (klik) Regards, Vergelpowerusa dot org"What we think, or what we know, or what we believe is, in the end, of little consequence.
