Guest guest Posted November 20, 2004 Report Share Posted November 20, 2004 Yes I was lucky the State kicked in for my TP..But in order for it to happen I to to have $6,000.00 in medical bills.. This is based on income etc...I also had Tri care (Army) and Medicare.. So I guess I was blessed.. But It had to be that amount..The VA doesn't allow transplants in the main scheme of things.. OK..They consider them experimental surgery..Like the Financial counselor for the Transplant clinic said it doesn't hurt to apply..Just take all your monthly bills down and prove of income, and lay it all down. and if the clinic your attending has financial counselor ask them..
