Guest guest Posted October 24, 2010 Report Share Posted October 24, 2010 It's been a long time since I have been on the site although I have been in contact with my support girls(Catie, Shirley, Kelli, etc). To update you on Massi... He had his 1st cast removed Oct 4 and it was the best day ever!!! I loved hugging him and it was a week of hugging and squeezing Massi. Massi got his 2nd cast on Oct. 11. It was the last time Dr.S would be casting Massi and that was sad for us. But we love and and know Dr. H will be a great asset to Massi's care. We shared a room with Adelyn which was great. Massi and Adelyn had a chance to play ball and interact with one another as Shirley and I were there to comfort each other. When Massi came out of surgey... Dr. S told us the casting went well and Massi went from 43* out of cast to 32* out of cast and in cast is now at 0*!! we were so happy. I didn't know what # I was hoping for as long as it was below 43* I didn't care!
