General Anaesthetic for MRI

Hi all,

Just wondering if there are any alternatives to a general for an MRI. Our

daughter is 17 months old, and wouldn't even stand still for her x- ray today!

I was wondering if anyone had used sedation instead for the procedure?

(We had a second opinion from an ortho today and he said he could get us in for

an MRI in the next few weeks if that is what we want - he said he is happy to

wait and see if things progress otherwise).

I feel as though we should get the MRI so we know for sure that there are no

other abnormalities.
