At our last appointment in SLC our doctor said we have the option of being fitted for a brace to have over the summer. I am not sure what to do at this point and it is really taking a toll on my sanity. turns 3 on March 21st and is currently at 25 degrees in his seventh cast. I guess what I am most concerned about is why are some of the kids with lower curves than him not being put in braces yet. i am not sure if the brace will hold his curve right now. I do not want hi to get any worse because I do not want to have to do surgery ever, even when he is a teen. I just don't know what to do.
