Guest guest
Looking at all the summer questions on bracing, I now have one of my own. My son Timmy is currently in his 3rd cast. He has been casted since May 2010. He will be 3 this week. The casting is working slowly, he is still at around 46 degrees. We were planning on having his cast cut off in mid June and reapplied the end of July. He would be in a brace for about 6 weeks. Is this okay? Timmy will need a bit of a break by then being casted for over a year. I don't want to lose ground since it has taken us awhile to get where we are. Do we think I should only take a few weeks off? Timmy has never had a break from it, not even for an hour since it was applied, I really want him to have some time off. Thoughts are welcome!
