giving dear son Spectrum complete

I dont give spectrum complete

and B12. SC has Taurine 100mg

Have run out of taurine , but its on order

and Magnesium 200mg

magnesium is included in supps we are taking so maybe we r covered with this

Mg

I will check this out thanks for the tip.kind regards

chriso

so after what you said I'm wondering if this could be what is responsible for

stopping our sons head banging (it was a major problem). So can you please tell

me how much Taurine and Magnesium your giving? It would be interesting to

know.Thanks for that post,

> Hi,

>   I have not read the responses to this email yet, but I wanted to reply

before I forget what I am thinking. My son bangs his head. I have always been

able to determin that a head ache is the cause, but I never really figure every

reason for the cause of the headache. Sometimes it is due to simple dehydration.

More prevalant of course in the summer, but in this dry cold with the heat in

the house pumping, we have had issue with dehydration and head banging. There

have been many things it seems that can cause my son's headaches which in turn

causes him to bang his head. Sometimes it is allergy, sometimes dehydration,

sometimes an offending food or odor. I have been supplementing taurine and

magnesium together as this is supposed to be good for migraine headaches and we

have seen a great improvement, with the exceptiion of when

> dehydration is the cause. I usually stay away from food dyes but Lukas will

not drink pedialyte or coconut water anymore

> so I use gatoraide and it works well. Almost right away. The taurine and

magnesium has also worked very quicckly. One other point I also wanted to make

is sometimes we see a regression in behavior right before a large leap in

progress. It is hard to watch, but I keep reminding myself one step back, two

steps forward. Healing can be painful. I hope this helps.

> Good morning,

> can i give you an example of a tantrum which has become really worrying the

past 7 days......

> 2 to 3 months ago i took stool sample and did full testing at Genova,

immediatly after we sent them cause of his poor behaviour again and tantrums, we

did clear out, flucanazol, and antibiotic. He improved.

> We started HBOT to up until 20th of December.... .Have restarted again

yesterday 4th Jan, point is i have noticed he gets these tantrums by which he

hits first the chair he is sitting on, then his legs or hits the top of his hip

[where i

> have noticed he has bruised] but the worst is hitting his head. its so

painful to see up until now by holding his head with both hands its a comfort to

him and it calms him, he gets really upset. last nite he was the worst i have

seen.

> kicking his feet cause i was holding in a nice way never with force his hands

and also putting pressure on his head in order to maybe make him feel better.

> He loves to stim with ribbons long grass, cotton from where ever he can find

it from towels, socks anything to get a long thread to stim. After HBOT i always

have one hanging outside as a reward for going in with a mask and doing the

session. well last nite during his tantrum i hid it, we calmed him down and he

fell asleep. Waking up this morning, he was looking for the ribbon from last

nite, he remembered. i saw an attack coming on so i tried to change his mood.

> I put on disney music on, pulled all his teletubbies, and thomas magazines and

he has changed

> mood, he is happily colouring  away whilst i am writing this e mail....

> WHATS ALL THIS ABOUT AGAIN.... bacteria, candida again? plus he is so loud

when he gets these tantrums, now he is 11 what happens in a few years time, dont

want to ever have to give medicine never....... ....... Is there something i

have missed, could i be doing something wrong...... patience has never been my

strength but i am feeling disappointed that i have not done enough.  Any advice

or personal experience would be really appreciated. .....i am not in a very

positive mood and quite worried.....

> kind regards always
