So can you please tell me how much Taurine and Magnesium your giving? My son bangs his head. I have always been able to determin that a head ache is the cause, but I never really figure every reason for the cause of the headache. Sometimes it is due to simple dehydration. More prevalant of course in the summer, but in this dry cold with the heat in the house pumping, we have had issue with dehydration and head banging. There have been many things it seems that can cause my son's headaches which in turn causes him to bang his head. Sometimes it is allergy, sometimes dehydration, sometimes an offending food or odor. I have been supplementing taurine and magnesium together as this is supposed to be good for migraine headaches and we have seen a great improvement, with the exceptiion of when > dehydration is the cause. I usually stay away from food dyes but Lukas will not drink pedialyte or coconut water anymore > so I use gatoraide and it works well. Almost right away. The taurine and magnesium has also worked very quicckly. One other point I also wanted to make is sometimes we see a regression in behavior right before a large leap in progress. It is hard to watch, but I keep reminding myself one step back, two steps forward. Healing can be painful.
